Fall Trend Report: Deep Colors
I assisted the senior stylist of Gilt Man on this shoot and the other fall trend reports. I’ve been learning so much and might be leaning towards men’s styling and making my look a bit more masculine… as masculine as sequins can be.
We spent all night shooting in Soho. It was one of those unreal, New York moments that makes me really appreciate where I live and what I do for a living.
for those of you who follow fashion industry news, the alert that nick wooster had left neiman marcus/bergdorf goodman caused an uproar. it was like, “holy crap, does this mean that i can’t stare at his tattoos every fashion week?” thank god we still can because wwd just announced that he will be gilt man’s new fashion advisor. yes, the menswear section of gilt groupe, which has been rapidly increasing in popularity since its inception in 2009, is stepping up its game and hiring a big gun like wooster is an awesome move. founded in 2007, the company has raised $48 million to date.
